Ash Barton, Devon, UK

The Ash Barton Manor House and Estate is set within 50 acres of beautiful North Devon countryside with its own wildflower meadows and lakes, as well as an atmospheric old chapel and big party barn. The nearest neighbour is over a mile away, so couples are guaranteed privacy and exclusivity on their wedding day. And there’s absolutely no curfew.

Couples are completely free to organise their own bar, caterer, florist, photographer and wedding co-ordinator, although there is also a list of recommended local suppliers on their website. 

Ash Barton can be booked over the weekend from Thursday to Monday or Monday to Thursday. And there are special rates for midweek bookings.

Sea of Curiosities is a collection of gothic art and décor created by Laura Miller. Laura designs and creates a range of décor from keepsake boxes, bespoke themed domes, candle holders, custom potion bottles, 3d sculpted wall art and more. She also loves to paint gothic & fantasy inspired artwork. Prices depend on the item/s and customisation required, but can range from £10-£200+, payment plan options are also available.

Highly sentimental, she draws inspiration from death and love and the people nearest and dearest to her heart, she creates feminine, wearable pieces with an underlay of morbidity. 

Each piece has been handcrafted by the maker herself with love and dedication in her London studio.
