Frequently Asked Questions
How would I benefit from having a wedding planer? I have a Tourism and Hospitality Management Degree, a Diploma in Professional Wedding and Events Planning and years of experience in various roles across hotels and restaurants including managerial roles. This gives me in depth experience of what happens behind the scenes of a wedding from setting up tables, catering and room bookings to meeting and greeting the guests. I can give you the best value for money within your budget whilst giving you creative advice, planning your wedding timeline and paying incredible attention to detail. I have carefully researched and chosen high quality suppliers and I can advice which ones will best suit your chosen theme. All of this and more will save you valuable time to focus on your life and your dearest with less stress on getting it all tip top for your special day.
Are you insured? Yes. I am insured with an insurance company who specialise in wedding services. This includes public liability up to £5,000,000.
How involved will we be in the process? This depends on you. I prefer to keep you highly involved as my goal is to make this a memorable part of your wedding! I mean, why only celebrate the day when you can celebrate the whole journey of marriage. If you prefer less frequent updates that is fine as well.
Do you cater for pets in weddings? Yes! Pets are part of the family. I will do my utmost best to have your adorable companions attend your wedding day.
What do you mean by alternative? To me, alternative mostly means Gothic, Metalheads, Pagans, Movie themes or Steampunk. It may mean something else to you though. Please don't be afraid to speak about all your ideas!
How long can you provisionally book a date for? I hold a booking provisionally for 14 days from the quotation date.
How can I contact you? Preferably via email with as many details as possible. You can also call, text or message me on Instagram. Please note, if I don't reply straight away I may be at a venue viewing or a meeting with another client.
What size weddings do you plan? I plan weddings from elopements and micro weddings to larger weddings of 200 guests. If your guest numbers are higher than that please let me know and I will find venues to cater for a larger event.
What is your backup plan if you get ill and cannot make it to the wedding? I will always aim to get a cover wedding planner whose services I trust.
Do you offer payment plans? The payments are structured, but if you need help with meeting the deadlines I can be flexible with them. Please let me know in good time prior to due dates so I can discuss this with you.
Do you offer discounts? I do, I offer discount for the serving military personnel. Let me know you are military when booking with me!
How can I pay? I send invoices that you can pay via bank transfer.
Do you charge VAT? Not yet, a 20% VAT becomes chargeable once the taxable turnover of a business goes over £85,000. I am a small business and take a limited amount of bookings per year.
What kind of suppliers can you source? I can source hair & makeup, venues, photographers, DJs, live music, celebrants, decor, flowers, cakes, dresses and groom's outfits and so much more. If you have an idea, even a wild one, let me know and I will do my best to get your idea come to life! I am proud to support fellow small businesses.
